As you may have noticed, I’m taking a slow approach to decorating my house. We moved in 8 months ago, and I’ve only shown you my bathroom, which admittedly was a small decor undertaking. We’ve made a lot of progress in the past two months decorating our living room, with just a few projects left to check off the list. However, I’m embracing this manner of slow decorating (similar to slow blogging, or slow fashion).
I’m very much the type that tends not to finish things if I don’t do them right away (see: the pile of clean laundry that sits in the hamper for a week because I didn’t put it away immediately). So, leaving our home “unfinished”, for lack of better word, for so long does make me a bit nervous. Will it sit in limbo forever? Will I ever make a decision? However, the upside to slow decorating far outweighs these worries. If you’re considering this approach, here’s my argument for why it is the way to go.
